AQUANARIA is a commercial company founded in 1973, placed in Gran Canaria (Spain) and dedicated to the production and commercialization of aquaculture marine species, specially, big seabass. One of the main objectives of AQUANARIA is to focus its efforts on a more sustainable aquaculture sector, since this intensive production is direct related to oceans conditions, availability of natural resources and its demands. The new disposal of feeding and the properties it will provide to the final fish products are other of AQUANARIA main interests.

Due to these issues, AQUANARIA is involved in LIFE BAQUA as a final user of different demonstrators developed in the Project. Its core activities are the evaluation of final results and also providing valuable information and experience as an aquaculture producer in previous activities, giving support to ULPGC and DIBAQ for the formulation of the different fish diets.
